GCMS Features New Cheerleading Team

In this fall season, Garden City Middle School proudly introduced a new addition to the football game sidelines: a cheerleading team. A total of thirty-five enthusiastic students joined this new team and have been diligently practicing under the guidance of Coach Elena DiChiara. Their spirited performances have graced the halftime shows of the 7th and 8th grade football games, captivating the audience with their energy and enthusiasm.

Excitement continues to build as this talented cheerleading team is set to take the spotlight at the upcoming Garden City High School Homecoming football game on Saturday, October 21st, at 2 PM. During this event, they will be featured at the end of the first quarter, promising an electrifying display of school spirit and support.

Reflecting on their dedication, Mr. Mike Tullo, GCMS Athletic Coordinator, shared, “It has been truly amazing to witness their hard work and the incredible impact their performances have had on the crowd and game energy.”
